Theresa Weatherbee
Theresa Weatherbee (AKA T-Rex), principal consultant for Engage on Stage, is a professional stage/performance coach and an experienced stage performer. Theresa was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, where she started her 46-year barbershop career. She is now a world-renowned coach as well as a Performance Judge in Harmony, Inc and the Barbershop Harmony Society. She is currently the Performance Category Specialist for Harmony, Inc. Her passion for performance is evident in her coaching and she brings all the elements of her training and stage experience into her coaching sessions. Theresa believes every performer possesses a unique personality and individual characteristics that empowers them to greatness on their stage.
Mark Hale
Mark Hale has an exceptional resume including having won a Gold Medal as a quartet singer, singing lead with Michigan Jake in 2001. In addition, Mark has directed top choruses including The Sound of the Rockies from Denver, as well as won four Gold Medals as the director of Masters of Harmony from southern California. And, in 2012, the Barbershop Harmony Society honored him with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Prior to those achievements, Mark had amassed 15 years of directing experience with two choruses in Kentucky, and he had been a District Quartet Champion in 1987 and again in 1995. Mark is also a sought-after quartet and chorus coach and arranger, and along with being a Certified Music Judge he was previously a member of the Society’s Style Evaluation Committee.
